Determined, creative, detailed, and tenacious.
|I have an AA and an AAS:Natural Resources.
Why I am the best?
I graduated high school knowing that I wanted a Bachelors in Science so I could work for a company that had careers within the natural resources fields. In community college I received two degrees. My focus was in science. My last year, I was in the forestry program and completed the AAS with the academic goal of having above a 3.5. I achieved that goal and was on the presidents list for both 2011 and 2012 graduations. While in the forestry program I was working part-time jobs. I also did a full-time summer internship with Rayonier Inc. I was in charge of monitoring two year old trees, measuring burn piles and reporting the weight of the piles to the state. During community college I resurrected a club called Natural Resources club and we provided environmental resources and information to the college. I also became a member of Society of American Foresters. I entered my Bachelors program and heavily studied the natural sciences with upper division class to receive my Bachelors in Science in June of 2013. I also did another full-time internship in the summer of 2012 with the Seattle Audubon Society. I was the conservation intern. I made a GIS map on my own of the Christmas Bird count results for the past five years which showed bird species individuals and diversity. I have a passion for the land we live on and would like to enter a full-time position right when I graduate this June.
